What do you think?
Last Sunday night at Church Family Worship we looked at Colossians 3:1-2. They say this:
"If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth."
The world still struggle with COVID 19, our nation seems to be unraveling before our very eyes. Tension, protest, struggle dominate the headlines now more than ever before.
What do you think?
Heavenly thoughts require a heavenly perspective. Start with the good news of Jesus Christ. He died for our sins, was buried in a tomb, and rose from the dead. God saves, forgives, provides hope, and has authority over the natural processes of this world.
What do you think?
Can God forgive you? Others? Does he have power over this world's problems? Do we approach Him seeking to learn or to order Him around?
Heavenly thinking, followed to its logical conclusions, should infiltrate more and more of our lives. Our words, our responses in stressful situations, our care for others, our private responses to temptation. We should truly let God have all authority in our lives.
We need to trade our perspective for his!
May we truly think heavenly thoughts!
