Let me be honest: as this weekend approaches, I am grieving. I am not alone and I do not suffer the most. But, I miss our brother Al Williams. I am saddened by his loss. He is gone seemingly too soon.
So what do we do? Crawl in a hole and make the weekend pass? If I tried that, I might have some elders who'd want to ask me a few questions. Maybe at time your grief tempts you to crawl in a hole as well.
So what do we do?
I found this article encouraging. It suggests we speak six words to grief.
Can you speak those six words? I hope so.
Read. Pray. Hug. Encourage.
I Corinthians 12:26 -
26 If one member suffers, all suffer together; if one member is honored, all rejoice together.
