It's difficult.
You're tired. Tired of news of sickness and death.
Tired of homeschooling and trying to juggle the rest of life all at the same time.
Tired of not seeing your grandkids.
Or your friends, or your own parents.
Tired of Zoom calls.
Tired of more news of unemployment.
Tired of online church and the lack of fellowship.
I am writing today not to take you further down these roads of all the negativity. I write today to simply tell you it's okay to be tired.
None of us ever could have planned for this. I strongly believe God has His purposes for all of us, but I want to relate on the human level. If the stress rises like water slowly boiling. If the patience runs thinner than sandpaper. If the frustration squeezes like one agonizing turn of a C-clamp at a time...
Know that God knows this. He strengthens His children.
Isaiah 40:31 - but they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.
Call out. Cry out. Ask God for the strenght for another day, another week, another hour. He loves you. He knows our collective and individual pain. He will provide when we can't.
In Christ,
Pastor Kevin
