1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 - "Rejoice always, pray without ceasing,* give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you."
*emphasis added
Prayer is an important spoke in the discipleship wheel. A true disciple of Christ desires to commune with God through prayer. Through prayer, we recognize the nature of God, adore Him for who He is, give thanks for what He has done, confess our sins to Him, and bring our requests before Him. Prayer causes us to rely on God and His will, and brings us closer in our relationship with Him.
We encourage you to grow as a disciple through the discipline of prayer. Here are just a few resources that could help your journey as a person of prayer.
