In addition to our regular worship services, we also offer various activities for adults and children to participate in.
Wednesday Evening Adult Ministry
When: 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Gather with us each Wednesday for a time of fellowship, study, and prayer.
Sample meeting schedule:
6:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Refreshments & fellowship
7:00 p.m. - 7:45 p.m. Worship time (includes praise, song, sharing, and study)
7:45 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Large group prayers for our church
8:05 p.m. - 8:15 p.m. Small groups for individual/personal prayers
Adult activities:
Adult Bible Study and Dinner - Meets every other Friday night from 6 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Please see http://gossfridays.weebly.com/ for more info. Starts Sept. 9th!
Choir - Our choir will rehearse to share special numbers occasionally throughout the year.
Men's Softball/Basketball - Softball and basketball games are offered to men 18 & older. Games are usually held on Monday evenings and practices are determined by availability.
Children's activities:
Nursery - Nursery care is available Sunday mornings, Sunday evenings (1st & 3rd), and Wednesday evenings.
Preschool - Toddler & Preschool classes are available Sunday mornings, Sunday evenings (1st & 3rd), and Wednesday evenings.
Tree Climbers/Stockade - Tree Climbers is for boys K-2nd grade and boys are encouraged to bring a dad, grandpa, uncle or other influential male in their lives. Stockade is offered to boys third through sixth grade. Brigade gives boys the opportunity to meet and fellowship together in a Christian setting with Christian leadership. The highlights of the program are the overnight trips to Stony Glen Camp. Stockade meets every Wednesday from 6:30 p.m. -8:30 p.m.
GEMS Club - Girls Everywhere Meeting the Savior. GEMS Club is offered to girls in first grade to sixth grade. It involves games, songs, story time, crafts, and snacks. It is led by Christian women from the church and they meet on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Youth activities:
Battalion - For guys in 7th - 12th grade. Meets every Wednesday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Teen Girls Group - For girls in 7th -12th grade. Meets every Wednesday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Youth Group - For guys and girls in 7th - 12th grade. Meets every Sunday from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.
